A Woman on a Mission

Grace Clark has always done things safe. She’s never colored outside of the law, but she has a book due and has found the perfect spot to break through her writer’s block. Or so she thinks. Right up until Arian suddenly appears and tries to force her away from the mountain. Unaware of the war she just stumbled into, Grace doesn’t just discover the perfect place to write, she finds Arian—the most gorgeous, enticing, mysterious man she’s ever met.

A King with a Purpose

Arian is a Dragon King who has slept away centuries in his cave. Recently woken, he’s about to leave his mountain to join his brethren in a war when he’s alerted that someone has crossed onto Dreagan. He’s ready to fight . . . until he sees the woman. She’s innocent and mortal—and she sets his blood aflame. He recognizes the danger approaching her just as the dragon within him demands he claim her for his own…

One of the rare times that I actually read a novel with shifters and what’s more…IT’S DRAGONS AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

Dragon King is my first Donna Grant novel and it’s proving to be a really amazing read! Something in her writing just attracts my attention and I couldn’t put it down till I finish Dragon King!

I do read paranormal fantasy novels but it’s usually for Young Adult novels. Even then, it’s always vampires and werewolves. It’s really rare for me to actually read novels with just shifters in it, except for the occasional ménage with werewolves, and even rarer to have a dragon shifter in it.

Yet, not only did I finish Dragon King (in a day I might add! I just couldn’t resist it!), I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

Of course, now I can’t wait to explore Grant’s novels!

I think the synopsis was one of the main thing that draw my attention. A simple yet intriguing plot! The characters! Oh, the characters! A writer and a Dragon King in a cave! Can anything get sexier or hotter than that?!

I don’t know whether to put my dislike in Arian or the man who convince him to use his powers to try and get the truth from Grace by using her fear against her. It’s not his fault but at the same time, he was the one who controlled it and Grace, oh Grace…she was so hurt!

I like happy endings for the characters so honestly, I was really praying Arian and Grace would be together aaaaaand guess what?!

*evil laugher* I never post spoilers in my reviews so get your own copy and find out! Dragon King is one novel that you will not regret reading!

Highly recommended for all mature readers!

*Thank you to the author for providing me with an eARC in exchange for a honest review.
